Paediatric Dentistry

A child’s first visit to the dentist can affect their relationship with oral health treatment for the rest of their lives. It is important that a young person’s first experience in a dental chair is a positive one, so we make it as fun as possible. We recommend children start visiting the dentist with their family from approximately two-years-old. A Polaroid photo, ride in the chair, lots of laughter and a movie on the ceiling mounted screens are all a part of a child’s first visit to CP Dental. It is imperative that a child’s first visit to the dentist is not when they are experiencing pain or discomfort with a tooth as this may result in fear and negative connotations with the dentist.  We accept the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Scheme (CDBS).

Dr Steven Kazoullis is a paediatric dentist who currently practices at CP Dental Emerald. Steven’s specialist qualifications allow him to treat complex paediatric cases within our general dentistry practice.
